I had a Targus bookbag for five years before getting the Boost bookbag. The Targus bookbag was good but not what I needed. This bookbag is huge. It’s bigger than the picture on amazon and jansport.com. It’s much taller than I expected, but that’s a positive. It can hold up to 17 inch laptops. There are four main compartments in this bag. The bag compartment is where the laptop goes and a couple average size textbooks can go as well. The second compartment is where I put my binder and maybe another smaller textbook. The front compartment is the greatest part. It has so much room! It has two cell phone or MP3 player slots, a place where I can put my graphing calculator, a place for a couple supplies(my mini stapler goes in there) and lots of other space to put other items. I put my wallet and my small cosmetic bag in there. The bottom compartment is where I put my laptop charger. I’m so glad Jansport came up with the idea of putting it below rather than with the laptop and taking up horizontal space. At the very top of the bag, there is a zipped up little compartment, where I store my Blackberry cell phone. It’s the perfect spot! What I also love about this bag, are the two little net areas on each side of the bag. I use one for my umbrella and the other for a bottle of water.

I’m really impressed with this bag. It has everything a bag should have for someone who carries a lot and likes to be organized. The only thing not good about it was the bag was somewhat crooked. Like the back bag compartment material wasn’t straight with the rest of the compartment material. I don’t think other people will notice. I noticed it because I was admiring the bag and it stood out at me. But that doesn’t prevent me from recommending this bag! If you want organization and lots of room this bag is an excellent option.”
